The Port Blakely Project is a collection of photographs based on the historic Port Blakely Mill generator building. This body of work began as a single 360 degree panoramic image of the interior of the now derelict building which inspired the larger collection of detailed images in support of the big picture. The panoramic print is in excess of 40 feet in length and almost four feet high. The photos were taken with a high resolution camera which records incredible color and detail.

The exhibit can be seen at Cafe Trios from March 27, 2009.

About the Artist

Philip Meadows currently lives on Bainbridge Island far from his native England. He is staff photographer at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Philip specializes in architecture and landscape photography and also hosts photography and digital printing workshops for individuals and small groups.
